Liz Kimball
is an AEA actress, singer, and dancer. Born and raised into
a family of artists in Philadelphia, Liz trained for sixteen years
as a classical ballet dancer before realizing that theatre was a
more fitting artistic mate. So were chocolate chip cookies.
Liz has performed
extensively in NYC and throughout the US. Liz originated the roles
of Eija Ritta in the world premiere of Erika's Wall at The
Music Theatre Company, and Lisa in Jackson Rep's critically
acclaimed 167 Tongues. Other recent credits include

title role in Coming, Aphrodite! at La MaMa ETC in New
York.

include Paper Mill Playhouse, McCarter Theatre, Weston Playhouse,
Marriott Lincolnshire, Florida Stage, The Paramount Theatre, and
ABT (Zoni Nomination — Best Actress). Liz conceived,
directed, and choreographed the original musical HappyFoods
for The Music Theatre Company, of which she is an original
ensemble member.
Liz graduated
summa cum laude with degrees in English and Theatre from
Northwestern University, and is currently pursuing an MFA in
acting at The University of Texas at Austin, where recent roles
include Betsy/Lindsey in Bruce Norris’s Pulitzer Prize Winning
Clybourne Park, Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Opera,
(Austin Live Theatre Recognition), Varya in
The Cherry Orchard, and

She coaches acting and voice privately.
When she is not
performing, Liz practices yoga, writes plays,
and dreams about planting a garden.
Thanks for being here. Namaste.

THE CHERRY ORCHARD
"We feel a depth of emotion in Várya, the
adopted daughter who's been running the estate in her mother's
absence and carrying a torch for Lopákhin…Liz Kimball draws forth
the character's moods of yearning, hope, frustration, and
disappointment in vivid colors."
- The Austin Chronicle, Robert Faires
"The acting in the piece
is strong…Liz Kimball as the earnest stay-behind daughter Varya is
particularly noteworthy in endowing her character with a tension
at the unavoidable slide toward homelessness."
- Austin Live Theatre, Michael Miegs
HAIRSPRAY:
“The Walnut’s cast is strongest in its supporting roles…Where to begin? How about with Liz Kimball’s moping, stoop-shouldered and hilarious performance as Tracy’s best friend Penny…”
- Talkin’ Broadway’s Tim Dunleavy
“Liz Kimball is sweetly awkward, with one helluva set of pipes…”
- Phillyist, Jillian Ivey
“In the Walnut’s high energy and incredibly fun production full of strong singers…Kimball delivers an absolutely adorable performance as the ditzy sidekick Penny…”

“Liz Kimball is a hoot”
- AisleSay, Claudia Perry
COMING, APHRODITE!:
“And, most important, both Henits and Kimball are incredibly appealing as the young lovers… One looks forward to seeing their work…soon…”
