Structure, guidance, and creative development for your boldest chapter yet
A private, confidential coaching relationship built on mutual trust and centered on your work, your rhythms, and what you’re called to create next. We hold all of the interdependent relationships of your creative life: your inner life, your money, your time, your people. Our path is shaped by your needs and desires, but I also help you see beyond your current vantage point. We don’t have 10-step plans or generic milestones because your evolution is its own creative act.
I work with a very limited group of clients at a time, because when I work with you, I go all in. We can work together for an immersive day, or a full season. Each year, I also invite a small number of clients to work with me for the full year. Many clients stay beyond that, as their visions and ecosystems expand.
1:1 Partnership
Clients come to me when they want my full support and individualized guidance as they begin a new chapter of work, life, and identity, or when they have big, ambitious projects they're struggling to get off the ground alone.
Our big intention: create a context and creation space so effective that your goals and visions become inevitable.
Vision Retreats
Full-day immersive experiences designed individually for you, and entirely devoted to creating, strategizing, and embodying your vision. Held online, or in person in New York City.
Coaching Sessions + Ongoing guidance
During our time together, we meet twice a month. Our sessions blend transformational coaching and strategic advisory—you leave with power, clarity, and a plan of action. You can also ask questions, send work, and receive my individualized guidance and feedback between sessions through voice notes and email. Many clients find this level of personal partnership dramatically accelerates their progress.

Despite what productivity culture has sold us, my work with thousands of women over the last decade has shown me that to create change, you must restore your relationship with your creativity. Traditional education never teaches us how to develop this relationship, and it's the key to the unapologetic, free, and creatively alive life we want.

Meet Liz Kimball
I am your Creativity Catalyst.
For over 13 years, I've been a trusted coach and advisor to visionary women across Hollywood, Broadway, music, media, and entrepreneurship. My clients are devoted to shaping new worlds with their work, and more human ways of working within their industries.
My life has been about making the path, rather than following one, and I work with women who are doing the same.
I created this work because I needed it and couldn't find it: a way of working where I could develop my creative voice, strategize about my future, and get the work DONE at the same time, and where my creativity, career, and selfhood — and politics and motherhood and and and — could converge and allow me to embody the bigger story I was here to tell.

Most of my clients have a therapist, and the two work well together.
Therapy addresses the traumas and root causes of pain, and helps you heal them. What we do is restore and heal your relationship with your creativity and, as a result, liberate the creative capacities that have been blocked due to conditioning and the culture. As a result, most clients experience healing, relief from burnout, and improved mental health. But then, we use that restored relationship to make change everywhere else you desire. I give you integrated, bespoke, and focused strategy, structure, thought partnership, guidance, and action plans.
Nobody needs a creativity coach. But for most women, this is the dormant relationship, and it's often the one that makes the change possible when nothing else has. If you've been in therapy for years, tried every habit system, done The Artist's Way a hundred times, and taken all the make-your-thing-in-90-days courses and none of it worked, that's the signal. We heal your relationship with creativity, and we start there. -
Yes, it's one of the reasons clients choose to work wtih me 1:1.
While I’m not your editor and, depending on length, do not always read all drafts in their entirety, I do have a gift for creative development, for finding the heart of a project and helping you get to what you're actually trying to say.
Having somewhere to send the work is often the thing that creates the breakthrough. It creates heat, which ignites creativity, without creating pressure, which shuts it down. Simply knowing a draft has a destination can dramatically accelerate your progress..
So send it. Then we talk about it, and the work moves forward. I also have a process for teaching you how to find the right people to give you the structural feedback on your work if you need it.
Most creativity coaching programs do not offer individualized feedback, but it’s rarely possible to reach the next level of your creative work without partners and witnesses in the act. Many also train you to work within a template or formula, which, in my opinion, is not going to birth your most authentic creative work. The method I use has been meticulously constructed to bring you back to your source and establish creative sovereignty, while also giving you enough structure and personalized guidance to get your work up on its feet and into the world. -

You'll answer a few short questions when you book, so I can prepare for our conversation.
Then we talk for an hour. It's a no-pressure conversation, and it's a working one. We'll look at where you are with your creative power right now and where you want to be, and I'll assess where flow is blocked, in your process, in your practice, and in the ecosystem around your work. Clients have told us that the act of booking the call catalyzes movement, and an hour of real attention on your creative life can have a meaningful effect on its own.If it feels aligned, we'll talk about timing, shape, and investment, and what would serve you best. Because I take a small number of clients, I let you know on the call or shortly after about whether I think I'm the right person, and if I'm not, I'll usually have a thought about what might serve you better.
